My favourite holiday movie is "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." It is my favourite Christmas movie because I personally love comedies because I love to laugh a lot. Also, it's my favourite Christmas movie because I LOVE Christmas movies and I also love Christmas. One of my favourite Christmas traditions is when we just wake up on Christmas morning, all three of us (me, my brother and my sister) go wake my parents up. Then my parents go down to the main floor (where the Christmas tree and presents are)and don't let us come down, and say how amazing it is and that we should come down! But if we go down we will get in so much trouble. After they take a picture of our annoyed and impatient smiling faces, they finally let us go downstairs! That is my favourite Christmas tradition because I love and hate the suspense of not being able to go downstairs and open our presents!
I would have to say that one of my all-time favorite Christmas movies is “Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. This is a classic and I love to watch classic movies during the holidays. I’m pretty sure I watch it every year as well as “Frosty the Snowman”. A tradition during the holidays with my family is that every year mainly family and maybe a few friends and I would go to a New Year’s Eve party and balloons would drop at the exact time it tuned a new year. We would party until 2:00 AM and it is so much fun! Sadly the tradition is being broken this year since my cousins have other plans. Happy Holidays!!!
My favorite Christmas movie would have to be “A Christmas Carol”. I love it because it really brings out the spirit of Christmas. I find it such a cute movie and I love watching it the most on Christmas Eve. A tradition that my family and I have is that on Christmas morning, my brother and I go downstairs while my parents are still asleep and we usually look at the shape of the box that’s wrapped up in the traditional Christmas wrapping paper and we try to guess what it is because we’re so excited. Then me and my brother just watch a bit of TV until my parents wake up and we can open our gifts all together as a family. Another tradition that we do is that on Christmas Day, our whole family (cousins, grandparents, uncles and aunts…) gathers together and we spend the Christmas all together as a big family. Christmas will always be my favorite Holiday.
My favourite christmas movie is " Dr. Seus how the grinch stole christmas". I absolutely love this movie because it brings my family joy to watch it all together. I find that it's a great movie for anyone ( young kids, teenagers and even adults) especially when you get to watch it with all of your family. A tradition that my family and I have is that on Christmas morning my brother normally wakes me up really early and we go down stairs while my parents are still sleeping. We prepare my parents breakfast in bed then we separate all of the christmas gifts that are under the tree. Then while we wait for my parents to wake up we normally take pictures together and we make christmas cards for the rest of my family. After we stay downstairs for a while we go back upstairs and give my parents breakfast. Then they come downstairs and we start opening our gifts one by one. Later on in the day we go over to my aunts house. There we watch " Dr. Seus how the grinch stole Christmas" and then we open more christmas gifts. After we do all of that my younger cousins, some of my older cousins and I go sledding at this big hill that we go to every year. I love my christmas traditions because I get to spend time with my family and we have a lot of fun - Sierra Toto
My favourite Christmas movie is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. This is my favourite Christmas movie because of it’s famous quotes (that are only famous in my house), the fact that it’s a tradition, and the Christmas spirit it brings.
In my house there are so many quotes from the movie that me and my dad say all year round. For example:”Finish the job our you’re fired!”. Or “I’m cute! She said I’m cute!”. For some reason those quotes just stick with us and they’re so funny.
This movie is a tradition for me and my dad because we find that it’s one of those iconic Christmas movies. Every year we try to see if they’re playing it on CBC and then we watch it with a smile from ear to ear.
Most people love Christmas or the Holidays and I am for sure one of those people. Having the snow on the ground with a Christmas tree fully decorated while you listen to Christmas music is the best feeling in my opinion. There are certain things that bring you this feeling and one of those things is this movie. It brings me so much Christmas spirit and joy.
I think that that is always going to be one of my holiday traditions. More holiday traditions that I have is to decorate the tree, bake cookies, watch holiday movies, listen to Christmas music in the car, and more.
I agree that having the snow on the ground, with a Christmas tree fully decorated and listening to Christmas music is one of the best feelings! GREAT BLOG!!!!!
My favorite holiday movie is Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” It reminds me of when I was younger, as my brother and I would always make jokes about my father being the Grinch. We still enjoy annoying my dad with some of the old, silly jokes, but I realize that the humor is less appropriate as I get older. The movie is still great, though, and I still love to cuddle up with my family to watch this movie. It’s still a funny holiday movie, and can still make us laugh!
My family celebrates Christmas. It is usually a quiet time with my immediate family and sometimes my grandparents and Aunt and cousins in Ontario. While receiving presents is always fun, I also take the time to reflect on those who are less fortunate, and usually get involved in some kind of fundraising activity to help out a charity.
i haven't watched many Christmas movies and if I had I don't remeber them. I have seen home alone, although it is not my favorite movies. I've also seen the elf but I don't like it very much either. In Armenia we celebrate Christmas on the 31st which is what my family does:))
My favorite holiday movie is by far home alone. Home alone is my favorite holiday movie because first of all, it's a great movie, all of them are but second of all, i used to watch it all the time when I was younger with my cousin and now when I watch it, It brings back great memories and I just love the movie. My family tradition is when all my cousins on my mom's side and I go outside to play in the snow and it's so fun and I love spending time with the family.
I love watching holiday movies! Every time during Christmas my brother, my sister and I always watch Home Alone. We watch all the different episodes! Are favorite one is home alone 2, we always liked that one because we love the adventures that the kid goes through. Home alone is a great movie to watch with friends and family because it makes you laugh and it make everyone happy at the end! Are tradition is that we have to watch all of the Christmas movies when it’s Christmas! It’s gets you in the Christmas spirit!!!
My family doesn't watch many movies but one that we all love to watch is "it's a Wonderful Life). The movies is about a man who owes $8,000 to the bank and his brother gave him the money and then he looses it (and this movie was made in the 1940s so $8,000 was worth much more back then than it id today!) So if he doesn't pay the bank he will go to prison. He has $15,000 of life insurance so he decides he wants to commit suicide so that his wife and four kids can get the $15,000 and with it they'll pay off the $8,000 and still have $7,000. But he gets stopped by an angel who shows him how amazing his life is and that he would be making a huge mistake by ending it so he decides not to! In the end his neighborhood comes together and the makes the $8,000.
My family tradition for Christmas is we go to my mom's parents house so my grandparents house for a HUGE Christmas eve dinner and then we get home reallyyy late and then I go to bed with my dog. Then I wake up at around 5:00am with my dog because we are toooo excited about presents to stay in bed!! So we sit by the presents until 7:00am and then i drag everyone else out of bed and because I want to open my presents!!!! Shockingly enough I stay awake all day because I'm playing with my presents!!
I love to watch Christmas movies when it’s the holidays. It’s one of my favorite things to do during the winter break. But my favorite movie would have to be a tie. The tie is between home alone one and two. I love both of those movies because they are so funny. My favorite part of both of the movies is when Kevin, the main character pulls of tricks against two robbers so they could get away from him. Even though the movie was meant to be funny, it actually helped me as well. I was very scared of being alone. Even when my parents were home, I was even scared to be alone in my own room. But when I watched those movies, I wasn’t afraid anymore. Thank you Kevin Mccallister!!
Every year, throughout the month of December, the Home Alone movie series play over and over again. My brother loves those movies and records all of them. It's like a tradition to watch the Home Alone movies during Christmastime. The whole family sits in front of the TV and watches it. My brother and I love them mostly because of how funny the robbers are when they are attacked by the traps set by Kevin. Our family's holiday tradition every year is that my whole family comes to my house and we open the gifts when everyone is present. My aunt comes and brings her dog Moomoo. We eat breakfast at my house and then in the evening, we get ready for the dinner my mom and grandma make.
My favorite Christmas movie of all time has to be Rudolph the red-nose reindeer, because it was my first ever Christmas movie, the story is the pure essence of Christmas (not in religious terms though)and I just love the story of the movie then mix in Christmas classics,it`s a recipe for success. I don`t have any Christmas traditions though, accept for if it counts; watch Christmas movies!
My favorite holiday movie was Polar express bi far the best holiday movie ever. The movie came out in 2004 and i automatically fell in love with it. It was the first Christmas movie that i ever watched. But there is still many other good movies this one is my favorite.
My favorite holiday moovie is defenitly HOME ALONE,every time i watch this movie i always laugh because of how silly it is. Altough there are 4 movies, my favorite is number one because it had multiple silly seens. I would say that my favorite actor in this movie is Joe pescie because he always has these weird plans.

My favorite Christmas movie is Christmas with the Kranks.Every single year me and my brother watch this movie.Every single time we watch it we laugh. We could watch this movie like five times in a row and would never get sick of it.. Some of our Christmas traditions are just like on Christmas break we just watch movies all day.Another one of our traditions is that on Christmas eve mean my aunt we always bake cookies. We also host our family Christmas dinner so my grandma, my grandpa ,my other aunts and uncle, my dad ,my cousins they all come over for Christmas.
I think my favorite Christmas movie is home alone because I like all the plans that the kid makes. But I think that I only really like the originals because the newer ones are not as good. I think that I like home alone so much is because me and my family all watch it together and we always laugh because of the silly bad guys and seeing them get destroyed by some little kid that just put up some pranks. I think that also one of the reasons is because it is always fun to see what his next prank is. So again home alone is my favorite Christmas movie.
My favourite christmas movie is the Grinch. When I was little I had the book but I was always scared of the front cover because it was a really scary picture of the grinch. But my favourite part of the movie is when they are all eating with the grinch and he's finally nice. My favourite thing to do for Christmas is when my family all gets together at one of our houses, this year it's at my house. I love it so much because there are at least 30 people in my family and we all eat together and play games. Except sometimes it gets really loud because my family doesn't know how to stop talking, lol. Whenever we play games my uncle likes to cheat a lot and whenever he gets a question wrong he fights the person until he gets it right. lol I love my family.
My favorite Christmas movie is Elf. I love Elf the most because it isn't like any of your other typical Christmas movie. For example, I'm sure that other films don't have burping elf's that only base their diet off of four food groups; candy, candy cane, candy corn and syrup. Watching this movie is actually one of the big traditions of my family, and I can never get bored of it. Can't wait to watch it again this year!
My favorite Christmas movie is definitely the Grinch, I love the film so much because me and my family would typically watch it together and it was so much fun. We typically don't watch it too much any more but it's still one of my favorite experiences for the holidays. We typically choose to watch the live action version, but sometimes we may watch the cartoon version as well (I prefer the live action version myself).
My favourite Christmas movie is "A Very Wompkee Christmas". This was my favourite Christmas movie because the main character was a little Wompkee and I thought she was just like me. Now, it is my favourite Christmas movie because it used to be a tradition that we (my family) watched this movie every Christmas Eve and I remember all the happy memories, like of me eating half of the cookies we made watching the movie, then having to make more cookies, while watching the movie!
I finally found a Christmas movie I like. Ever since I was a kid I have loved " How the Grinch Stole Christmas". I only remembered it cause I was thinking of traditions and It came to mind. I watch it every year on Christmas Eve with my family. Sometimes it gets old when I've seen it 14 times already in one holiday season but over all it's not a bad movie and it doesn't make me want to cry so it's pretty good.
My favourite Christmas movie is " how the grinch stole Christmas " it was one of the very first movies Christmas movies I've watched as a kid and is a tradition in our family to watch it ever Christmas. Even thought I know the movie by heart it never gets old. It is a classic that I will always love.
A holiday movie, I always watch the same holiday movies annually so I do not like holiday movies but my family has a tradition sort of. On christmas eve everyone on my dad’s side celebrate at my grandparents house and every two years my dad’s brother and his family come from England. My family and I swap with my mom’s cousin so my second cousin and we alternate for whoever will throws the party for relatives on the day of Christmas. However there will be an additional party as my grandfather's siblings will be in town just before the new years so my dad is supposed to throw another party that day for the aunties.
My favourite holiday movie is "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." It is my favourite Christmas movie because I personally love comedies because I love to laugh a lot. Also, it's my favourite Christmas movie because I LOVE Christmas movies and I also love Christmas.
