If I could compete in the Summer Olympic Games I would like to compete in gymnastics. I would like to compete in that sport because I am very flexible and I have very good balance. To do gymnastics you have to be flexible and have extremely good balance. The reason why you have to be flexible is that in gymnastics you do a lot of splits and do to splits you have to be flexible. The reason why you have to have good balance is that when you are on the balance beam (as it says in the name) you technically balance on it. Also on the un-even bars you are very high up and if you don't balance your self properly you will just fall. Also in gymnastics you have to have strength to hold yourself up. I don't think I would win a medal because I haven't done it in a while. The last time I did it I was ten years old, so I wouldn't be that good.
If I were to compete in the Winter Olympic Games I would definitely do skiing. Skiing is my favorite sport. I love it so much. When I go skiing it's like I'm floating in the air. I have been going skiing since fourth grade and have been going every winter since. I am a pretty good skier, although, I would definitely not win if I competed. I am not the best at it but I enjoy the sport all the same.
If I could compete in the summer Olympics I would want to compete in diving. Whenever I watch it on T.V. , I just wish I could do that. I used to be a good diver but I'm not anymore. If I actually competed in that sport I know that I would not win . I wouldn't win because (a) I still get really scared when I dive off a diving board, (b) I'm not a great diver and (c) I'm scared that I'll do a belly flop. I’d also want to compete in kayaking or canoeing. Although, I have never done kayaking or canoeing I seems fun and hard, but I’m up for the challenge.
If I could compete in the summer olympics, I would love to compete in basketball. As a little girl, I would always be playing basketball with my dad and I’ve always had a really big passion for basketball. It’s always been my dream to be in the olympics. The reason why I would want to play basketball in the olympics is because I love the feeling of competition and the fact of winning. I guess I’ve always been a really competitive person.
I have no clue what sport I would do, although personally I would prefer a winter sport since I love winter WAY more than summer. I guess I'd prefer something like skiing, I tried skiing a couple of times and really enjoyed it but I doubt I would be even remotely good at it at all because I'd probably never land a ski jump, slip on moguls and forget a race I'd be rocking the NO Medal look. The second sport I would like to do would probably be curling. I just think curling seems like an interesting sport to do and I think it would be fun to try but as always I wouldn't win anything.
If I could compete in the olympics, I would love to compete in the summer olympics with horse jumping as my sport!! My dad introduced me to horseback ridding when I was five years old and since the moment I saw the horse I was gonna ride I knew that this passion will be a passion that I will carry on for the rest of my life!! When I go horseback ridding I'm better than most of the adults around me and their jaws drops to the floor when they see me doing a full out run on a horse!! I'm a very advanced rider and even if I do much more ridding/running on a horse I have done jumping before and the fist jump I did I was seven years old and my horse started running all of the sudden when we we're in the woods just running and my dad looked at me when he saw the horse was going straight to this branch that was being held up by two trees and he told me keep calm hold on and you will know what to do, and I did!! But even if I don't do a lot of jumping I would definitely be able to do it!! I'm not sure if I would win jumping but I would definitely get at least second place if not for sure first!!
If I were to compete in the Olympics, I would compete in the summer Olympics with my sport as basketball. I would chose basketball because it's pretty much my passion and my favorite thing to do. My older cousins introduced me to basketball when I was about 5 or 6 years old but I only started to play when I was about 8 and I fell in love with it! I don't think I would win because there are much better players out there but I also don't think I would lose.
If I could compete in a winter sport for the Olympics it would be figure skating. It would be so cool to be able to figure skate. I know how to skate but I'm way to scared to jump or do weird twisty things. I would love to compete in the Olympics imagine getting a gold, silver or bronze medal. Sometimes I try to figure skate but it never ends well, I always fall and hurt myself. Also I have a big fear of when I fall while skating and someone skates over my hair accidentally and cuts off all my hair.
If I could compete in a summer sport,it would be gymnastics. I love to do flips and I also love to compete.
I used to be a competitive gymnast till this year. I used to get gold, silver and bronze but mostly silver. It was really fun to go to away competitions in the U.S. I got to stay in a hotel room with some of my gymnastics friends and we had a lot of fun. We also went to go watch other people's competitions to cheer them on. I felt like when I was at my practices the people around me where like my second family. I knew almost everyone and we we're all nice to each other and would help each other out on bad days.
My biggest fear was beam. I would always be scared to do any moves backwards because I thought that I would miss my hands. Gymnastics doesn't seem hard but it actually is. You have to have a lot of courage and you have to be fearless. Even though I don't do the sport anymore, I still think that's it's my passion and I think if I would've continued I would have maybe gotten to the olympics if I was good enough -Sierra Toto
If I could compete in the Olympics I would choose hockey. That would mean that I would be competing in the winter Olympics (which I find is better than summer Olympics). I would compete in hockey because to be in the Olympics you need to be passionate about the sport that you are playing. This is my fifth year playing so I am very passionate, dedicated and excited about hockey. Hockey would be the best fit for me at the Olympics because I love the sport and I truly believe that if you love the sport you will be a better player, you will try your best and you will be a great team player. I’m not sure if I would win because the Olympics are very competitive and hard, but I would play for team Canada and I would have a lot of experience with hockey. Which means there would be a good chance of me winning. I would hope that if I ever get to play in the Olympics I would win to represent my country but even if I got the opportunity to play in the Olympics that would be an opportunity of a lifetime.
I would play in the Summer Olympics and my sport would be basketball. I love the sport of basketball! It’s my favorite sport to play and to watch on tv. I’ve been playing basketball for nearly my entire life. My parents have a video of me dunking my first basketball. I was about three years old. I know nearly everything there’s to know about basketball. Unfortunately, Canada doesn’t have good basketball programs, at least not as much as the United States. I’m hoping to turn that around. I wouldn’t play in the winter olympics because I hate the cold and because some of the sports in the winter olympics require for people to skate. I don’t know how to skate I can only skate with a chair. Give me a basketball; I’ll shoot a three pointer, I’ll dunk, I’ll block and i’ll bring home the gold medal or leave my heart on the basketball court. I love this game.
If I could play in the Summer Olympics, I would choose to play Badminton. Badminton is my favorite sport and I can say that I'm good. Badminton is the perfect sport for me because when playing, you aren't running that much because your side of the court is so small compared to the ones used for basketball and the technique lies in your steps and arms not in how fast you can run. If I competed, I would most probably win a few games and lose a few. I can't say that I could win all of them because it depends on who you're playing against.
I would compete in badminton, because it's the sport I`m the best at,so it`s a no brainer and also it helps me choose the fact that I also love the sport. I don't think I would get a medal because it's hard nowadays, and you need to practice so much,6 hours a day! It's just too much for me.
Badminton is so fun!!!! You get to hit around small objects (Birdies) with rackets at the other teams area. I do agree the amount people have to train is ridiculous!!!!
I would compete in the summer Olympic games because I'm a pretty fast runner and this summer records were broken so one day I would like to break a record of any kind.
I enjoy many different sports, but my favorite is swimming. As swimming is a summer Olympic sport, I would have to compete in the summer games. Swimming is a great all-body workout and builds great muscle tone. I've been swimming since I was 6 months old, and love all the strokes, although prefer front crawl. When I'm swimming, I feel like a fish that has just been set free into the ocean. It's a great extracurricular activity, as it allows me to relax and escape the reality of school and homework. I'm hoping to join the St. Thomas swim team. As for the Olympics, I can only dream. It would be an honor, however, to win a medal for Canada.
I would for sure compete in summer Olympics cause I don't like winter and I don't know how to do any winter sports.I would probably compete in swimming. Iv'e always loved and had a passion for swimming. I've spent most of my life in the water. My friend and I were the 2 youngest kids to ever graduate Level 10 swimming lessons ever at our pool. We graduated together and we both share our passion for swimming. We were 9-10 years old. I am actually really good at it. My summers are mainly spent at my cousins house in their pool swimming, either racing the kids, playing with them, taking care of them, or swimming laps with our without the kids. Swimming is also the only sport that I really love. I've been in the water since I was 2 I think (with my parents of course). I will even swim in the pouring rain (I think i developed this cause unless there was a serious danger or a thunderstorm or something) while I was in swimming lessons they made us swim in rain or shine.I learnt over the years the colder it is outside or if its raining, the pool gets A LOT warmer in the pool and it's much better. I have such a passion for swimming and being in the water that because I have to be 13 to do Bronze Medallion at my pool, I did Intro to Life Saving with a bunch of older kids.
Sports are the best! If I would compete in the summer Olympic I would be playing Soccer! I love soccer you get to be aggressive and get a lot of exercise. Some people think that soccer is hard to understand since their is a lot of rules, but I think that it's really easy to play and that anyone can play. I hope to become a better soccer player since know soccer is all about winning and having fun! I really want to learn because even though I am not bad at playing soccer, I really think that I need to improve. Soccer make my get all the stress out of my body and even though my team looses sometimes we still are in the top three at the end of the whole season! Soccer is really fun and if one day i'm really good then I will definitely play in the Olympics.
I love to play badminton. Last year, I played over 6 hours a week. I use to go to many tournaments in Quebec. They were fun. My brother use to play, also. We would play doubles and singles. My brother and I won fourth place in a big tournament. I love this sport because I got to play with my brother and it's challenging. This year, I took off because school is challenging enough. But, yes, I would choose the summer Olympics since badminton is played during this time.
If I could compete in any Olympic sport, it would have to be archery. Although I have only done it a few times, I really enjoyed it and I was surprisingly good at it too. I think that this sport best suites me because archery takes a lot of steadiness and precision, with are both some of my qualities. I am not sure if I would ever win at archery in the Olympics because I have not had any practice, but I'm sure that if I worked hard and practice continuously, I would win a few.
If I would play in the summer Olympics, my sport would be gymnastics. I would play the sport gymnastics because I used to be a competitive gymnast, I started gymnastics when I was four years old and was a competitive gymnast for 3 years, I would train 12 hours a week and in the summer 16. I quit gymnastics when i was 11 years old (last year) because my injuries were very very bad. I don't think I would win because I never got to the level for olympic trainers, but if I was competing against my own level I think I would have a shot.
A sport that I would do well in… The answer is close to none but in fact I have done Archery even got my own recurve bow. I would do decently in archery as I do have some practice. There is one problem however as I am incapable of shooting the required distance since I would be using a recurve bow and not a compound one. Also I rather not use the compound bow because I tend to misplace the Arm Guard so if my string hits my arm I will probably end up cut.
As my grandfather told me as a kid, all of my family members have high jumping blood. My father won 1st in all of montreal and 2nd in quebec. I would participate in the summer olympics because i love sports like, high jump, soccer and long jump. I have enven participated in high jump tournaments during the summer. i came 3rd place and i was very happy
