I am very excited for this project. I don’t think I’ve ever done a cake project before. I am very excited because first of all cakes are delicious and second of all because this project isn’t boring because I love to bake. This project is original because we get to use our creativity in the project and do what we like. There is one obstacle that I may encounter and I really hope I don’t. This obstacle is if somehow my cake breaks or falls and I have to restart. Or, I don’t like my idea for the project but it’s already too late to restart. I hope this does not happen because I am looking forward to doing this project. I can’t wait to see the other cakes and see what my classmates have come up with. I especially can’t wait to eat all the delicious cakes. Maybe I could get some ideas from other’s cakes to use for next time I have a similar project.

This is a unique project. There's no right or wrong. For this project all you need is creativity. Obstacles we may encounter would be messing up on the design or may be not knowing what to do. If you mess up on the design of the cake that would be a big problem. You would probably have to restart. I'm looking forward to see everybody else's cake. I cant wait to see what they make.

THE hardest part for sure in this project will be making the cake, I don't think I'm very good at that because I'm inpatient. I'm looking forward to eating the GOOD cakes cause I love cake, I'm excited to TRY to make the cake but I think we all know how that's gonna go ��
I love the idea for the cake projects. Its creative, fun and new. Me (being myself) and just paranoid (as usual) about something happening or someone doing something to my cake. Years of bad experiences with food and projects and all this other stuff has just made me become paranoid about food and projects and stuff.
I am definitely excited to make the cake, but believe that decorating it will probably be a big challenge, although I am sure it will all go very well! I love to bake, and love filling the house with great smells and things to eat. Given that my project is the Mock Turtle, I have already encountered some obstacles. My mom and I have already gone to 4 different stores and can’t seem to find any brown-colored decorating icing that we will need to make the outline of the turtle. Also, finding green sprinkles for his shell is proving to be difficult. We can find every other color but green. We’ll keep looking - Bulk Barn is next!
I enjoy eating cake just as much as I enjoy making it. I have a definite weakness for frosting - the more the better! I am definitely looking forward to seeing the variety of different cakes and tasting them all!
I'm super excited for the cake project like working on it with one of my bestfriends but also having to make the cake have a theme to it. I think that working with your bestfriend is a huge onstical because it can be fun, but you can also end up fooling around a lot but as long as the project gets done well, I don't see the problem of having a little fun. I'm so looking forward to seeing my other classmates cakes because with all these great themes, it's so cool and fun to see what other people prepared.
I'm really excited for the cake project. It seems that it's going to be the most fun project of the year. What I'm most excited for is making the cake but I also think that's going to be a struggle. I'm really excited to make the cake with my friends. Another obstacle that I think I'm going to encounter is probably making the cake taste good. I'm very excited for this cake project because it sounds like a very interesting idea for a project, but I do feel that it can go wrong very fast, for example if somebody waits too long they may be stuck with a stale or old cake, or if the cake is under baked that can be disastrous for them as well, but one of the most challenging things will be decorating. There are a lot of people who have no experience decorating cakes, and if the cake is being graded on how it looks that can be a big problem. Even with all of those possible issues I am very excited to try and bake my cake and to see all the other cakes.

The cake project seems like a lot of fun. I’ve never done a cooking project before. I look forward to seeing all of the designs that everyone else made. Even though this seems very interesting, but there are two things that I’m concerned about. The first thing that I’m worried about is the time to bake the cake, Mr. Katz said that it would be a good idea to make the cake a few days or the day before the due date. Which is fine except for that the due date is a friday, which means that I probably have to go to my partner's house on a weekday to bake the cake. It’ll be hard to find a good time to do it. A monday would be a better due date because we would have the whole weekend to do it. The second thing that I’m worried about is how my partner and I are going to bring the cake to school. I don’t think that it’s a good idea to bring it on the bus and if one of us drop the cake, we fail.

Well, I'm sort of excited, yet worried about how much work this project will take, I mean making a cake is a large project, especially when I'm making it 3D, like a an actual caterpillar. Gosh the obstacles are insane, I have to make a sculpted character of a caterpillar, it's no easy feat (At least for me) and the 3D Mushroom, it's just crazy. Yet I am excited to see the other cakes, hopefully they're tasty :) .
I am really excited and nervous for our last project of the year, the cake project. I am excited to make the cake and decorate it. I don’t bake cakes usually, but having an assigned cake to make seems like a fun challenge. I am excited about mixing food colouring to get the perfect magenta for the Cheshire cat’s stripes and actually mixing all the ingredients for the cake. Some obstacles that I might face are making the fondant, making the Cheshire cat’s face, and making a cake, a Youtube video, a powerpoint and doing other homework all in one night. I am very excited to see all the different ways people will decorate their cakes and the choices they will make to represent their character or setting. Bring on the cakes!
Yah im super excited to see the cakes and also too see if they taste good. But i think sean and i are gonna do pretty good because the garden seems pretty simple and pretty cool and stuff so its gonna be lit. AND ITS GONNA TASTE AMAZING.
The things that I am looking ford to is making a cake because I have never made a cake that ivolved such work for example I will have to use fondant and icing tubes.I am looking ford to seeing what others made in comparison to mine. I think the only problem I am going to face is organising a day to do it.
i'm really excited for this project because i've never done something like it and I'm happy to try something new. One big obstacle Bella and I will go through is probably laughing too much and not being focused. also we don't agree on the flavour so that might be a problem. apart from that things are looking pretty good. i'm not that big of a cake person I'm really excited to see what other groups are going to create.
This is the best idea ever for our final project and I am really, really excited! I've always wanted a project that required decorating and cake, so this will be my favorite assignment of the year. The best part of this is the decorating. I've watched so many cake shows, techniques and tutorials, but I never could try them out, so this project is a great opportunity to use the things I learnt. The biggest obstacle for this task is time management. There are so many components to my cake, I had to make a schedule so that I know what I have to finish each day because I don't want to rush anything. I am looking forward to trying other people's cakes and see what their cake design is.
