When I first started high school, I was a little apprehensive. Everything was new, and it took a while to adjust to moving from class-to-class and getting used to having different teachers for every class. But, that feeling of being the new kid in school quickly went away, and as the year has progressed, I do feel like I have grown up a lot. I feel a lot more self-confident, and I have learned a lot this year. I also feel like it is easier to do things on my own and take my own decisions. I no longer feel like I am a child as I have to take responsibility for school work and chores at home on my own. It is my responsibility to organize my time and make sure that I get assignments done on time.
The first day of school I was so nervous because this was all new to me and I was especially worried I would get lost and not do well in school or be late to class, etc. But now that I’ve accustomed to high school and gotten used to the schedule I am a lot less worried. Other than this, I don’t think I’ve changed or grown very much. I have learned more throughout the year but nothing much has changed for me. I do still feel like a child because I will not turn thirteen until the summer but then every once in a while I feel older because I’ve graduated from elementary and now I’m in High school so things are different.
Getting lost in the school was definitely something I was very worried about at the beginning of the year, I didn't want to be late on my first day! Great Blog (:
I think that before high school started, I was a lot more expressive than I am now. High School is much bigger than elementary, so it also made everything much more overwhelming at the beginning of the year. I think that I am calmer at school than I was before, so I guess you can say that I am more grown up. However, when I'm at home or around friends, I am much more expressive and outgoing than I am at school, so it all really depends with the people I'm around. So after that being said, I think that I'll always have a little bit of child in me.
I do think that I have grown up since when I first started high school, because I understand more things, like how to take the train home and to pay for my own lunch. I do think that I have changed because I used to find school easy and not study for any tests and still get an A+, but now I really need to try and work hard to achieve my goals. I do still feel like I am child because I am not an 18 year old yet, and I don't know everything about life yet, like taxes, owning a car or a house, and even how to drive!
I haven’t really changed much since the beginning of the school year. There are only two changes that I’m aware of. One, my voice got deeper and two, I became a bit more talkative. My parents and my sister always make jokes about my new tone of voice, telling me, I don’t sound like a kid anymore and how soon, I’ll have a beard. I used to be very shy and quiet. I’m still a bit shy but much less than the beginning of the school year. I still can’t believe that I was quieter than I am now. I’m still a very quiet person but I express myself much more nowadays. I’m basically the same person besides those two changes. I believe that I’ve gotten more mature. I do things like my homework, taking my shower, cleaning my room without being told to do it by my mom. I also sometimes spend some time alone at home. And I think you have to be pretty mature to stay home alone. I don’t really feel like a child anymore beause now I do teenager things. I go to highschool, i stand up for myself and I can take care of myself, at least for a little while.
I haven't changed since I started high school. i'm still a child. But I find that the people around me at school have changed for worst, which is too bad but I can't do anything about it. I find that a lot of people chance so that they seem to act either as if they're older or are so easy going they start no caring about anything. I will keep her name anonymous but she used to be really nice at the beginning but through high school she has changed so much and for some reason ALWAYS tried to take the friend we have in common away from me!
i have changed a bit since i started im more mature but im still a child when i first started i was nervous but then i meet sean lambros and my friends john and liam and we laugh about dumb stuff i have grown up in height and age
From the beginning of the school year i feel like yes i have grown up and matured as a person. At the beginning of the year i was more childish and not as smart as i am now. Being around different people and a different environment has turned me into a new person. i know still that i am a child but i think that i don't act like one (at least not all the time)
When I started high school , I was insecure and I would always care about what others would think of me. I think that I have changed. now I am more confident. I also don't care about what other people. Their opinion doesn't matter. I don't feel like I'm still a kid. I feel like I have matured. Some people at the beginning of the year were really immature but now they matured. But some others didn't mature at all. When I was a kid everything was easy you got no homework, played outside all the time and had no responsibilities. No that I have matured I have many responsibilities. Like it's my responsibility to make sure that I have finished all my homework before I go the bed.
I believe that I have grown up since I started high school. I believe that I have grown up because I have gained a lot of of privileges since I started high school. I believe that I have changed since I started high school because I've started thinking a lot more before I do things or say things. Before I started high school I wasn't thinking a lot before I spoke but now I think a lot more. I also think that I have gained a lot more responsibility since I got social media because whatever you post on Instagram or on your Snapchat story stays there forever even if you delete it. So it makes you more self-conscious about your decision. I believe that I am still a child sometimes when I've had to much sugar but most of the time I try and be a good example around younger kids.
The answer honestly depends on who I`m with at the time, if you talk to my friends from elementary school, they would say I`m the same (or even worse) but I think that I've grown a bit... a little... very little... but it`s still there. I honestly feel like I will always behave like a child with my friends because that`s just fun for me. As I said I don't really think I've changed too much over the years but I do think I've grown a little.
I think since the beginning of the year I have grown up. I used to be nervous about homework, making friends, and finding a way to manage hockey and school at the same time. Now I take things one step at a time, I make a plan to get all my homework done, I find a way to get homework done and still go to hockey, and I make friends along the way. I think now I am more calm and approachable. I talk to a lot of people in my classes and I try to be friends with everyone. I even know how to get my homework done more efficiently which gives me more sleep at night. In a way I am still a kid, but I am also grown up. In public I am mature and relaxed but with my family and friends I am weird and hyper.
I really haven't changed much, I will not grow up for a while now, I personally enjoy being young, you can enjoy yourself more and be less stressed. Plus be free of cussing every five seconds like some of my classmates (no offence). I haven't changed one bit really, maybe a bit less wacky if anything. I really feel like I won't grow up for a while, the notion of growing older sickens me, having so many responsibility's, relationship's, the love kind in particular and it's just to much for me, I can't understand why people want to grow up, like the only reasons I see is because you really want to get your dream job, or to legally drink booze.
I think that I have deffinaly grown up form the fist day of high school. Frist of all I think that I learned about how to communicate to others better because before I was very shy and did not like to talk to other very much. I am also taller than I used to be oviously. I think that I am also more responcible than before because know I Get everything to get to gether myself and do not rely on the teachers as much. I still feel although that I am a child. I think that I will only ever not concider myself as a child is when I turn 16.
I defenetly feel like i changed since the begening of the year, i was not worried about going to high school or making any frinds but that changed, i met a lot of new friends and we have had good times together, i have defently grown height wise. Iget a lot of complements saying i have grown. I would like to say that i have matured but we all know thats not true
Have I grown up? Not really but when a matter extremely serious i'll be mature about it. I have mostly likely changed I am not as serious or nearly as shy I used to be. Feeling like a child in terms of treatment, my work, thoughts or like ideas and principles it does not have the same sensation in my head as it seemed to be in the past.
I don't think I've grown up or changed that much because when I talk to my best friends or elementary friends I'm probably still the same as before. At the beginning of the year, my friends would always tell me that I'm so different, but I don't really think it's true. I still feel the same as before I went into high school. I still feel like a child because I always hear sec 2's or other grades say stuff about sec 1's and it's really annoying because were literally a few months apart and they were in sec 1 a few months ago.

ReplyDeleteMe too, by being more responsible I feel more mature and more grown up.
