One march break my father, step mom, brother, sisters and i went to jay peak resort in Vermont. and it was surprisingly fun I've never been to jay peak until like 2 years ago and it was super fun and the water slides where super fun. i wish when i went i knew how to ski because I've heard that the slopes are super fun. also that the fact that hey have like separate chalets to rent out to you and you have access to the hotel is pretty cool.
The best March break I ever had was last year's March break. It was my favourite March break because I went down hill skiing for the first time ever. At first I was really scared and didn't even know how to stand upright, but by the end I was able to go down most of the hills (of course not the black diamond ones)! While I was going down one of the hills my brother got this FANTASTIC idea to trip while I was near a bunch of trees (the instructor that taught us how to ski told us to go down in zigzags)!!!! So my brother went and tripped me and I face planted right into the snow (luckily I didn't hit any trees) and couldn't manage to get up. Eventually I got up and my face was freezing. My mom got mad at him of course. But you know what you put out in the world comes right back at you. By that I mean my brother also got hurt. So, he was getting on the ski lift but then he fell off of it. The ski lifts don't stop so it ran him over!!! I was farther back in line so I didn't know what was happening and said "why is this taking so long? Can't they just get this person out of the way!!!!" Until the friend I was with said "I think that's your brother?!" Then I took back what I said. So that was my first time going down hill skiing.
... I don't really do much on March breaks. I just do what I do any other day, read, watch Netflix, Stalk authors on Twitter you know the usual. So I can't really say anything about March breaks for me they are kind of just reasons to not go to school. The most interesting thing that happened on March break would probably be when I found out that a new entry in my favorite book series was coming soon, that's really it honestly.
The best March break that I had was in 2015 I went to Spain for the week!! The funny thing about it is a my mom works at Air Transat and so we sometimes just like find flights like a little bit before we take off and it was almost a record I found out we we're going 2 days before we even took off!!!! It was really fun in Spain we saw a ton of family and friends!! Another interesting thing was that because that airline company only flies to Bacelona, Madrid and Malaga we landed in Barcelona and had to drive 4 hours to get to Almeria were everyone we know is after getting off a 7 hour flight! But it was a SUUPPERR vacation!! I went to the beach everyday!!
I love March break! My best experience was last year’s! I went to visit my uncle, aunt and cousin in Florida! It was awesome! The only misfortune we had was in having a delayed flight, and then not being able to find their house easily after we picked up the rental car. We didn’t arrive until 1:00am, which didn’t bother me at all, but my parents were very tired and a little grumpy. My cousin had school the next day, and I kept her up talking all night! After the first day though, she also had some time off school, but we dedicated the first day together to getting all our homework done so that we could enjoy the next week having fun. We visited the alligators in the swamplands, went to South Beach in Miami, took a water taxi tour around Fort Lauderdale, and so much more. I even went to the gym with my aunt! We went for walks every night, and when we returned, we either went into the hot tub, or the pool! We also ate out several times at my favorite Mexican restaurant, “Tijuana Taxi,” which is also my cousin’s favorite restaurant!
The best march break that I have ever had would be 2010's march break, mostly because my grandma bought my family a trampoline! The day after she had shipped it, it had arrived and we set it up instantly. This was my best March break because every day in that week we had off from school, my whole family would go on the trampoline together. Sometimes my mom would makes us lunch while my brother, dad and I were on the trampoline, other times my mom was on the trampoline with me when it was raining and my dad and brother were making smoothies!
The best March Break experience that I have ever had was a few years ago in Ottawa. Me and my family went to the outdoor carnival which had lots of activities like going through a maze, sliding on the ice, jumping on a trampoline etc.. It was also really cool since a friend of mine was there with us too, and together we skated around the huge Rideau Canal. I also got to eat one of my favorite desserts ever... Beaver Tails! They are so yummy, especially when they are warm on a cold winter day like it was in Ottawa. It was an awesome experience!
My best march break experience was about 4 years ago when it was the first time I went on a cruise. We left from New York then we went to florida, Bermuda and the Bahamas. My family and I didn't get off the boat in florida because the weather wasn't that good. In the Bahamas my brother and I went on this huge blow up water slide that was on the beach and it was so much fun. In Bermuda my brother and I got these huge sea shells and we got our names engraved in each one of them. My first cruise was absolutely amazing. -Sierra Toto
Last year was my favorite march break, every year I spend march break at my cousins house, last year was the best one so far, we had gone to the sugar shack, visit some of my aunts friends children, and we went to a sugar shack with them, we went on some amusement park rides, it was really fun and we did a lot of stuff, we tried taffy, eat brunch, and after that I slept over at their house, so overall that was the funnest march break ever.
My favorite march break was 4 years ago. I went to Cuba with my whole family and some friends. It wasn't only the best vacation ever but it was also the first time going on a vacation with my whole family. Cube was sooooooo, much FUN. We got to do activities every day and always had food everywhere! The best memory we have made their was, when we watched their shows every night and they always said "ciao, ciao mickey mouse". Now in 2017 when ever we talk about a vacation, one of the first things that comes to our minds are "ciao, ciao mickey mouse".
Well the worst march breaks were from when I was 5 to when I was 8. I went to camp all week. It was the worst! I don't really remember what I did on march break all the other years. So I can't remember my favorite one. I only remember those horrible years at camp where I was all alone all the time with no friends for a week. Now I just kind of sit, reconstruct my life, work on projects and homework, study, make notes, watch Netflix, play sims, and talk to friends. I'm going to my great aunt and uncles cottage on Friday (10th) to the Sunday (12th) this year and I may be able to see a friend I haven't seen since I graduated this weekend and I'll probably see my BFF as per usual. I'll be taking lots of pictures up north at the cottage cause I love photography. I'll also probably try and Finish decorating my bedroom and do a lot of cleaning and make some digital edits and stuff.
I hate camp aswell it's so boring and the monitor people are really annoying cause they have these weird names like "skittles" or something, idk camp is weird.
March break is my relaxing time! I rarely do anything big. I usually catch up on my sleep, play video games and hang out with my sister Jordan. I remember one year when I had to go to camp for March break. I DESPISE CAMP! Both my sister and I hated going to camp. Summer camp, March break camp, Winter break camp, I hated them all! For the entire week, I had to do dance, arts, crafts and sports. YUCK!!! Everything was boring. Even the sports we played were boring. I didn’t know it was possible to make gym and sports classes boring. But camp proved me wrong. My least favorite class was obviously dance. I hated dancing especially in front of people. The counselor was very bossy and she forced me to dance. The people that were in my group were really annoying and had no rhythm. I couldn’t stand that camp, so I was very happy when the break ended. Ever since then, I spend my March break with my sister. We chill for the first two days; catching some ZZZZZs, playing video games and watching movies. Then, my mom takes some time off work and we do some family activities like going to Isaute or Funtropolis. This year, we’re going up north sliding!
March break for me is really fun! For march break I usually go to florida but this year we aren't. Last year for march break my family and I went to florida and it was really fun. I went to an Miami heat game against the warriors and we had floor seats and we were so close that one of the players got pushed onto my cousin and me and at the end of the game he came to apologize and take a picture. For me that was the best spring break
I think that all my march break experience has been fun. My brother and I always go to my grandparents cottage for a week. There I relax and if I have homework I do it ( I usually do get homework). My brother and I go sledding and we go skating. I love it when I'm up there a week to relax and worry about school. I remember one time after me and my brother were skating for hours, we came in from the freezing cold and my grandma made my brother and I hot chocolate and we watched a movie. That is the best memory that I have of March break.
I don't really remember my past march breaks and I've never gone anywhere on march break, in the past. But this march break both of my parents are off the whole week so i'll probably be doing stuff with them or my friends. I was supposed to go to New Orleans because my uncle works there and he lives in a condo but then my other uncle decided that he wanted to go during march break too, even though he doesn't work. So basically he can go whenever he wants. Then we wanted to go to New York but my dad had to do something with his passport I think, and he only got that done yesterday so ya.
My best March Break was when my family and I went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Even though, I was upset we couldn’t go into the certain waters because the waves were too big and the water was too cold, it was an eye opening experience. While we were there, we went on so many adventures: we went whale watching, saw huge pods of dolphins, went snorkeling, we rode camels and horses and went on a dinner cruise. When we went on the dinner cruise we were so close to the whales, we could practically touch the mother humpback whale and her calf. My favourite experience was the dinner cruise because the food was delicious and seeing the two whales so close was an experience that I will never forget. What made it so special was that my family was together. Usually my dad doesn’t take time off in March so it’s just me, my sisters and my mom. This March break stood out from the rest because of all the special moments I had and the memories I will never forget.
My March breaks are always the same every year. We always stay at home instead of going on vacation. Most of the break, I relax and watch TV or finish off some homework or projects. And the best part of it, is that I can sleep in, which I really need. One or two of the days, we drive to Toronto or Messina, but this time we went to Kingston for a day. On one of the weekends during March break, my aunt visits with her dog and the family either goes out for brunch or dinner. I've never really had a bad March break experience, so I'd say that all of my March break experiences were good.
I think that my best experience during march break is that my birthday falls wright in between it. I think that this awesome since I have so much time after my birthday to do what I want. I also get to spend more of my day with my family. I also get to sleep in on my birthday with is also awesome! I definably think this is why I am so exited the week before March break. This is definably why my march breaks are so memorable.

DeleteI absolutely love going downhill skiing and have no fear doing the double and triple diamond slopes! Amazing blog!!! :)
DeleteI went to New Orleans one March break in 2015. We went on a cruise trip from New Orleans to Honduras, Belize and Mexico. We got to go on a ghost tour at night which was kind of creepy. There were a lot of haunted houses. We went to a café called “Café Du Monde” and ate beigne and I Had a hot chocolate while my parents had coffee.
ReplyDeleteGoing to all those places sounds like it was a lot of fun great blog.
DeleteThat sounds so fun I've never been on a cruise!! Great blog!!
DeleteWow! I would love to go on a ghost tour, it sounds really cool! I have actually never been into a real haunted house before, but I would love too!
