My favorite teacher in secondary 1 is my English teacher Mr. Katz. I am not just saying this to get good grades but because he truly is an awesome teacher. For one, Mr. Katz gives very little homework, secondly, he is funny and makes the class amusing and third, he teaches one of my favorite subjects. I have had many amazing teachers such as Mr. Katz but they were not as awesomely unique as him.

DeleteMy favorite teacher is Mr. Katz, not just because I get good marks in that subject (that is one of the reasons!) but because Mr. Katz doesn't give a lot of homework which gives me a lot more spare time to do what I want. Also, the projects and work we do in class aren't super boring, they're actually fun and we use a lot of technology instead of writing on paper all the time and he teaches everything in a way we all understand.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite teacher is Mr. Katz. I usually hate English class because they are boring, but he makes it fun. He is probably the only teacher that doesn't give me a lot of homework. His class is the only class I get excited to go to. Before I came to high school thought that English class was going to be writing essays doing lots of presentation. I so happy I ended up in his class.

DeleteI think my favorite teacher is mr. Katz and I'm not saying that cause he's gonna be reading this (haha) I appreciate mr. Katz because his class is different. We do many fun things and learn at the same time. We have many INTERESTING ways of taking tests and doing projects which I thing is really fun.

DeleteThe teacher that I appreciate most is Mr.Katz!! I'm not just saying that because he will be reading and marking me! I'm saying this completely honestly because I used to get like an 80 in english that used to be my mark all the time. But now I get a lot higher!! For example for this term I got a 92!!!!!! That is a big difference! That's 12 percent! Mr.Katz has had a huge impact on me and he made coming to school a LOT funner!!!!!!!!! Mr.Katz is someone who I will never forget as long as I live!!!!

Personally, my favorite teacher is Mr. Katz. I always look forward to walking in his class because I truly know it’s always gonna be an awesome and amusing class. He doesn’t give a lot of homework which is good because it gives you spare time and it gives you the chance to work longer on homework for other classes. I really appreciate the facts that Mr.Katz always has something new to teach whether it’s about reading or writing, he always finds a way to make it amusing.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate many of my teachers but the one teacher who I appreciate a lot is my art teacher, Mrs. Skuja. The reason why I appreciate her so much she is very understanding of her students. For example, let's say that we are having a bad day, she said to tell her that we are having a bad day and she will let us put our heads down to rest for the whole period and just get your mind off of things. I also appreciate her because she gives me amazing feedback that doesn't hurt my feelings and that helps me with drawings a lot.

DeleteI aprreciate a lot of my teachers for the things that they do or teach us, I can't decide which one I like best. One of them, is definitely Mr.Katz! What I appreciate the most that he does for us that he barely gives out any homework, and he is always friendly. He also makes learning really fun, and we laugh a lot during his class.

DeleteA teacher I appreciate is someone you probably don't know,… just kidding! It's Mr.Katz! I appreciate Mr.Katz because he gives just about no homework! I also appreciate Mr.Katz because he understands me and all the other children. He understands us when he says after school is a time for kids to have fun,and not do homework, and I completely agree! I also appreciate Mr.Katz because when we are in class we read books that Mr.Katz had chosen and every one we have read was amazing!

DeleteOne of many teachers that I appreciate is Mr.Katz.I think I appreciate him the most. Mr.Katz has a very different way of teaching and it is very different then other teachers. He doesn't make us sit in rows, he doesn't give any homework and his way of giving tests are very different and interesting. Most of all Mr. Katz cares about us. I always walk into his class thinking that I'm going to have a great time and I always do. His class is the best. I have the most fun in English. I mostly enjoy Mr. Katz's class the most because we always have a lot of fun. Mr. Katz is very funny and he makes me laugh with all of his jokes!!

I love most of my teachers except for some exceptions, but honestly you would have to suck really bad in order to be one of my least favorite teachers. I appreciate all teachers because being a teacher is arguably worse than being a student imagine having to correct over 60 pages almost every week! Because that's what a teacher has to go through, I wouldn't be able to handle that. Another reason I appreciate teachers is that (most of them) they are always willing to help anyone if they need when honestly I would probably just go like " Oh you don't understand... OH WELL TOO BAD" but that might just be me. I wouldn't choose one teacher I appreciate the most because I love them all equally.

DeleteI appreciate the majority of my teachers. In fact, just about all my teachers at St. Thomas have been pretty amazing. Not only are they good at teaching, but they really seem to care about the students. Of course Mr. Katz has been fantastic. He teaches in a different style (with technology), and has given us some pretty cool assignments. Another teacher I also really appreciated was Mr. Crawford. Mr. Crawford allowed his students the freedom to choose an activity, as opposed to telling us what to do. I really enjoyed this style as he accommodated everybody and made them feel welcomed and happy.
ReplyDeleteA teacher that I appreciated very much was my gym teacher Mr Crawford. Jaimie Crawford is a very nice man who’s very respectful to his students. He always had a kind word for me. He always pushed me and encouraged me to do better. Mr Crawford was very easy to talk to. And since we both love sports, we always had some great conversations. Mr Crawford made gym fun! Besides being nice to me, he would also do things that would make gym class even more fun for me. He would do things like: letting me choose the team that I wanted to play with, giving me hints on how to win a game and sometimes, he even let me choose the game that we would play for the entire class. I was very sad when he left! I felt like I lost my mentor. I miss him very much.
ReplyDeleteLucky me, I still have my other favorite teacher: Mr Katz! I always look forward to English class. Especially when I’m having a bad day because I know I’ll feel better once I’m in his class. Just being in Mr Katz’s class cheers me up. We’re always doing something fun, new and interesting. Mr Katz just makes everything fun! He takes teaching to a new level. He pushes us to think outside of the box and to always do better. He’s also very nice and easy to talk to. My favorite is when the whole class does a fun activity together. We all participate and laugh a lot.
Yes, I really miss him in gym, he was such a charismatic guy that everyone liked no mater what. Great Blog!

ReplyDeleteI have had some pretty good teachers in the past and in the present, i would say that i have liked every single gym and art teacher that i have ever had. Its two courses that i have really enjoyed and explored creativity and athletical features, not to be a suck up or anything, i think that one of my favorite teachers is probly Mr Katz, i do OK in his class and if i have a bad day, his class will forcher cheer me up, i think i like Mr Katz class so much because he is diffrent then most teachers (in a good way:0) im in love with anything electronical, he uses a lot of resourses that have that same style and i enjoy it soooo much.

Last year I had a really good french teacher. She cared a lot about us. And you're probably like "how would you know?" or "ok sure". But she always asked us how we were. There was this one person last year that was a really good friend of mine and was kind of a depressed and started to hurt themselves. They told this teacher and the teacher helped them feel better. At the end of the year the teacher gave the person, her email and told them to contact her whenever they was a sad or just anything. Also at the end of the year, in the summer, she sent everyone in grade 6 a letter saying how she was going to miss us and personal things that only we told her.

DeleteMy favorite teacher was Mme.France. She was my kindergarten teacher. She was amazing because we played,played,played all day. My favorite thing to play with in her class was the play doh. But I liked her the most because she was so good with kids. If I would of picked a teacher in St.Thomas high school it would be my gym teacher. She motivates me into being more strong and athletic.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I appreciate all my teachers. All my teachers do a lot for their students to do well. I appreciate how my teachers give their time to do tutorials and to let students finish their work at lunch. What I like about my teachers are that they either give a lot of homework for us to get better at the subject. Or our teachers don't give us any homework because we don't need it. I love how my teachers are always making their students feel uplifted to do their work and get good grades. I think that teachers have such an important job, yet they don't get recognized by many people. Teachers teach engineers, doctors, scientists, politicians, lawyers and almost every other job in our world. I think teachers should be appreciated everyday.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate, Mr. Katz, why because he is an immersing teacher that adds utilities from the 21st century and is also a very encouraging teacher, he gives us unique projects usually not seen in classes, which also is pretty cool and he lets us read instead of all of us doing it individually so I just know that he is great, wonderful and unique English teacher.

DeleteI have two teacher that I really appreciate.The frist one is a lively teacher that does not give much homework only on a few days of the week. He always inspires students to work by using tech the classroom. The second one is a teacher that always starts of the day with a catch phrase that inspires the whole class room. He always makes weird jokes that have no connection to the thing that he is teaching. Can you guess the two teachers.
