The SuperBowl was played lover the weekend between the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots. There are MANY football fans who love watching the game, however, many people watch SuperBowl for the halftime show (Lady Gaga) or the awesome commercials.
Why do you watch SuperBowl? Is it for the game, half-time show or commercials? Explain.
If you do not watch SuperBowl, how do you spend super Sunday? Explain.
I do not watch the SuperBowl. In fact, I don't like football at all. Sundays are pretty much the same routine every week. In the morning, I head to the pool and take part in X-fit and swimming. In the afternoons, nearly all my time is spent on homework, while my mom cleans and cooks and my dad goes to see his parents (my grandparents). In the evening, we usually have a nice family dinner and then watch a movie or something on TV. Pretty boring, I know, but those are my Sunday's.

DeleteThe reason why I watch the Super Bowl is for the half time show. This year, it was amazing! Lady Gaga was swinging from ropes on the ceiling, and her voice was fantastic. One of my favorite Super Bowl half time shows was performed by Katy Perry. I remember watching her come in on a huge tiger, while singing one of her songs "Roar". They really go all out!

DeleteI never ever ever watch the super bowl this year was the first year that I watched it. I only watched the first half and the half time show were lady gaga was hanging on the wall. After the half time show I closed it and watched "Mother's Day" with the family (it's a really good movie) Apart from that I went skating with bella, and lambro on Sunday and we ordered pizza and ya that's pretty much it
ReplyDeleteI normally watch the SuperBowl mainly for the game. My dad and I are really big football fans and my mom just likes watching the halftime show. But apart from the game, I find the half time shows pretty fun too. I was really happy when the Patriots won, I was always a fan of them. At first they were so behind, then they caught up and before I knew it, they won.
ReplyDeleteI do not watch the Super Bowl but my dad does. So every year he puts it on TV and I don’t watch but when the half time show comes on I am right there watching it with him. I like the half time show because the performances are every big and fun to watch. Personally, I loved Lady Gaga’s performance and how she went flying through the air. I am not a very big fan of football but the half time shows are great!!!

I don't watch the Superbowl because I don't understand football. I spent literally my whole Sunday searching for the perfect dog for my grandparents. I have a dog and she's AMAZING and her name is Ruby!!!!!!!!!! But my grandmother really wants a dog and she wants the dog to be small so we we're looking all day on different rescue shelter websites and we finally find the perfect dog for them!! His name is Coco he's fully trained and he's three years old. He's white and he's 7 pounds and he's white. So he's the opposite of my dog. For one Ruby is a girl Coco is a boy, she's tan he's white and she's over 60 pounds and he's 7 pounds. But he's perfect for my grandparents!! Earlier today I wasn't 100% sure if they we're gonna get him but now I'm almost positive that they will!! For pictures of Coco just ask me at school!

DeleteI watch the Super Bowl mostly for the game but I also enjoy the half time show. I love to watch the game with my dad and watch the half time show with my mom! Whenever I watch the game with my dad we always have a bowl of popcorn. Yes I know we are eating from a bowl while watching the Super Bowl haha very funny, my brother makes that joke all the time! Whenever I watch the halftime show with my mom we are normally talking about if the singer that is on (Lady Gaga) is going to come to Montreal (I think she is!) and if we should go to the concert.
ReplyDeleteI guess you can kinda say im a geek when it comes to sports, especially football. i would say that football is my second favorite sport to play and watch, obvious soccer is #1. I watch the super bowl for the game and for the commercials, i dont really watch the half time show because i find it quite boring, Every year i either watch it with my family or with friends. Its just a great way to get everyone together and have a good time with others

DeleteTo be completely honest i do not understand football at all. I mostly just spend the whole game on my phone and ate food. I was excited for the half time show but that disappointed me as well.lol. Lets just say football isn't my thing , i mean they stop the game like every 5 seconds , gets annoying.
ReplyDeleteI do not watch football all that much but I do like to play it. My Sunday was good. I probably would have liked to watch the super bowl on Sunday but it just did not happen. So I did something that is way more exiting to me than watching the super bowl went to go see my cousins. I had a great time and we had lots of fun. Some of the not so parts of my Sunday is that I had lots of homework. In all I think that my super Sunday was good.

I was so exited to hear that Lady Gaga was preforming at the Super Bowl because she always does something interesting with her performances. But sadly, this year I didn't get to watch it because I was doing homework. But then later I went on YouTube and just watched her performance.

DeleteThe reason why I watch the SuperBowl is because of the halftime show and the commercials. I find that the halftime show at the SuperBowl is always very interesting to watch. Most of the time, I don't even watch the football game I just watch the halftime show. Also, the commercials that they play are specially made for the SuperBowl. Some of them are stupid and others actually make sense. I love the commercials because the companies, that want their commercial to be played during the SuperBowl, pay five million dollars for a 30 second commercial.

I watch the super bowl because I really like the sport of football and it is one of the many sports I play. every super bowl Sunday, my parents, my sister and I go to my grandfathers house to watch it and teh whole family comes also and we just hang out, eat and watch the super bowl and then hang around until about 1AM just hanging out and It's really fun. Honestly, the half time show doesn't really interest me at all and I don't know why I just don't really find the performances super interesting

The reason I watch the super bowl is for the football,commercials and the half time show. My dad and my brother both love to watch football and so do I. The commercials are personally my favorite, sometimes the commercials are really funny and that's why I enjoy them. My mom and I both love to watch the half time show.
ReplyDeleteEvery year for the super bowl I go to my aunts house and the rest of my family comes too. We all enjoy watching the super bowl together. This is a tradition that I have in my family. The girls in my family don't watch the football they are only interested in the half time show. All the boys watch the football and they don't really care about the half time show. I like to watch both the football and the half time show.

The reason I watch the Superbowl is for all of the above, I love the funny commercials, the halftime show is pretty good most of the time, especially when musicians I like play it and the game is always fun to watch, because of the funny fails and the great plays, in all the super bowl, is like a super ball of fun for me. Just sadly there's been being fewer and fewer commercials due to the price of them.
ReplyDeleteI don't really watch the super bowl, I only watched it once with my father and I found it really boring. I don't really find it interesting mostly because I don't like football, I would probably like it if I liked football but I don't so I don't watch it. I mostly spend my "super Sundays" by doing what I do every other day, I either read, watch a movie or will be doing homework/studying. The only thing about the super bowl I kind of like is the half time show, especially if I see a performer that I know. All in all I guess I don't really understand the super bowl.

DeleteA lot of people really like watching the super bowl. I think that it would be inserting if i would actually understand what`s happening in the game. On the Sunday that the super bowl was playing I only watched the half-time show by Lady Gaga. But because my brother and dad like watching it they always go to my uncle`s and aunt`s house to watch it, and have a blast. i stay home with my mom and sister. We usually relax after a long week and maybe watch a movie together!

Although some of the people who preformed I would have liked to see, I don't have cable. I'm more of a stick my head in a book, make aesthetics, Netflix, YouTube, etc kind of girl. I don't enjoy sports (not including swimming) very much.
ReplyDeleteI watch the SuperBowl for two reasons the game and the halftime show. I usually don’t watch the SuperBowl, but out of all the football teams the Patriots are my favourite. Another reason I watched the SuperBowl was because I was really intrigued to see who was going to win. I know that a lot of people were going for Atlanta, but the Patriots are one of the best or the best team in the league. I also watch for the halftime show. I like the halftime show because all the artists who perform try and top last year’s performance with new announcements and bigger stunts. Something that I really wanted to see was if Lady Gaga was going to perform on the roof. I know that it was rumored that she was going to perform on the roof but I wanted to see if it was true or not. Another rumor that I wanted to see was true or not, was the rumor that Beyoncé would perform with Lady Gaga. Unfortunately Beyoncé didn’t perform with Lady Gaga which made me disappointed. I find halftime shows are always fun to watch because anything could happen since it’s live tv. I usually don’t celebrate Super Sunday because no one in my family is a huge football fan. This year however I watched the SuperBowl with my parents, my sisters and my grandparents after eating super. I think the best part of it all was watching my grandparents react to Lady Gaga and her performance. I don’t think they were used to the type of performance and the type of performer. Super Sunday was a really fun night and I hope I could watch it again next year with the same excitement as this year.

ReplyDeleteI usually watch the Super Bowl for the game. I like football! But When my favorite team:The Giants don’t make it to the Super Bowl, I’m not that interested who wins or loses. I’ll watch the game but I won’t be very interested or pay that much attention. This year, I wanted the Atlanta Falcons to win just because I hate The Patriots. So I rooted for The Falcons. Unfortunately they lost and I had to see my least favorite player: Tom Brady lift up the Super Bowl trophy AGAIN!!!! At least they didn’t beat my Giants. Super Bowl 48 was my favorite. The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos 43-8. I liked that game because all of my friends thought that The Broncos were going to win and I was the only one that thought that The Seahawks were going to win. And I was right!

When the game is boring but the halftime artist is someone like Bruno Mars that i like a lot, then I’ll watch the game for the halftime show. So everything sucked this year: the game was very disappointing and I don’t like Lady Gaga! No I’m not kidding! My favorite halftime show was also during Super Bowl 48 because they had, you guessed it: Bruno Mars!
My weekend was splendid even though I do not watch american football I celebrated my birthday. In the afternoon I went to Chinatown and ate Chinese food although my family had planned to eat dim-sum but the restaurant was undergoing renovations. After returning home I played counter strike (CS:GO) with some friends we queued and completed several competive matches and I ended up getting one of my friends kicked for friendly fire, overall my Sunday went very well.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch the Superbowl at all. Even my family doesn't watch it except for my aunt because she likes football, but otherwise, no one watches it. I am not a sports fan unless it's a hockey game where the Montreal Canadians are playing against Boston. I don't find it interesting to watch sports like football and soccer. I didn't even know when the Super bowl was, until I searched it up. Over the weekend, I watched Lion with my family and I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip. On Sunday, we ate McDonald's breakfast and I did my aunt's nails and watched TV.
ReplyDeleteI love to watch the Superbowl because of the half time show. I like only like to watch the half time show if I know the singer or I like them and their songs. I loved when Beyonce sang at the half time show last year and a few years ago. I loved this years half time show because of lady gaga. 3 or 4 years ago I went to lady gaga's concert, which was somewhat kind of inappropriate at certain points. But I really like lady gaga and her music is really good. But I don't really like her new album because it's kind of country styled unlike her old music which was pop styled.
