No, I have never been to a circus, but according to what I've seen on television, it would have to be the trapeze. I agree, recently they have been in hot water due to animal violations and activates, so its no wonder that that would be the reason, it sucks because I would've loved to go see a circus with animals similar to the Ringling Bros. so I guess I'll find another one in another time .
I am the opposite I wouldn't want to see a circus with animals because those animals are captured and not treated very nicely. Other than that, GREAT BLOG!!!!!!
I, personally, have never been to the circus. I'm sure that they are probably very entertaining to the audience, but I don't think that the animals are having a good time doing their act. In my opinion, I think that the Ringling Bros circus is probably closing due to animal rights. It isn't fair to keep an animal captive and train it to do things they shouldn't have to, they are wild beings and deserve to be free in the wild.
I have never been to a circus show but I have always wanted to go and see "Cirque du Soleil". If I went to "Cirque du Soleil" the whole show would be my favourite act because all of it is gymnastics and stunts. I believe that the circus is closing due to animal rights concerns. I believe that because the animals that they use during their performances are animals that they captured and aren't treating very nicely. They should just release back into their natural habitat.
I have never been to a circus before but I’m sure it’s very amusing and entertaining to watch. I think my favorite act would be the acrobats. I think that the Ringling Bros circus is closing due to animal rights because I truly don’t think it’s fair for the animals to have to go through all the training and the tricks. Animals should be free and not doing a bunch of circus acts.
I have been to a circus but not with animals. I went to go see cirque du Soleil when I was younger. I think that the Ringling bros are probably closing because of the animals. It's not fair to them. It might look amazing to us but it's torture to them. No animal should be forced to be in a circus, they should have the right to be free and not held captive. It's torture to them because they are inside all of the time and they have to be trained for awhile. I do not think it's a good environment for the animals. -Sierra Toto
No, I have never been to a circus show. But if I did I would probably like the tight rope walking, the trapeze and the jugglers. I do think and hope that the Ringling Brothers Circus are closing due to animal rights since animals are being captured and forced to work. It is unethical to enslave any living creatures whether they’re animals or humans.
I have been to many circus shows, but only from one specific group. That group is called Cirque du Soleil. My favourite show from them is called Luzia! I don't know much about the circus: Ringling Brothers, but I think it must be closing due to animal rights concerns, because most circus's have closed down due to animal rights concerns. I also hope this circus is closing because they make animals do tricks and hard work all day to please the audience members and I find that horrible!
I have been to the Shriner’s Circus in Montreal, but was too little to remember it. More recently, I did go and see a performance at Sea World in Orlando (Florida) with dolphins, otters and walruses. I thought the show was amazing!! My favorite act was when the sea creatures were all performing together on the water slides.
Unfortunately, I have not being following the news, so I actually have no idea whether the Ringling Brothers Circus is closing due to animal rights concerns. I do, however, know that Marineland and Sea World both have been in trouble due to inappropriate handling of animals. I do agree that circuses should be shut down when animals are not looked after properly or when they are abused.
I have no clue what the Ringling Brothers circus was until now So I really don't know what to say about this personally I don't really know what they were doing to/with these animals in order to get animal rights activists to get mad at them but if it was something severe I wouldn't really care that much that it's closing but otherwise if it's just them getting triggered I would be very mad. I've never been to a circus and I don't really have a favorite act and I'm just using this sentence as a way to get more words for this blog. All in all I think that closing the circus is an all right decision as long as it's for a valid reason.
no i have never been to a circus because of clowns and i was afraid of them so i never went i don't really know because i never went so i can't tell you my favorite act and i don't know about the animals because i never went but i believe the're badly treated because my cousins went to always go to circuses so they'd tell me that the lion and sad and had cuts so that is my opinion but yeah if you've been to one have you ridden a elephant ?
I have been to one circus "Le Cirque du Soleil" 1 or 2 years ago. I went with my grandfather, my dad, my brother, my grandmother and mother because my aunt had gotten tickets for, I think, my parents anniversary or something like that. My favorite act was when this guy was stacking chairs and climbing it up to the ceiling, while another guy was climbing chairs upside down from the ceiling to the floor and they both met in the middle, mid-air. This circus didn't have any animals, but I do think that the circuses are closing because of animal rights because of how animals are being used as a source of entertainment and are trained to do something they weren't born to do.
I have never been to a circus. On what I've seen on tv it looks entertaining. My favourite act would probably be the tightrope walkers. Whenever ever I see it I always wonder how they do it. They must have lots of courage to do that. The Ringling Bros. circus probably closed because of animal right concerns. Those animal should be free not held captive. All circuses shouldn't use animals in their acts.
The circus is so much fun! I have been to two of them so far! They were really exciting and amusing! I always go with my family and end up having a blast! My favorite act was when the acrobats were doing flips and trips in the air. The show was so amazing because at one point a gymnast went on the trapies. I feel that the circus is closing since the animals are not in good health.
When I was little, I used to go to the circus with my family every summer. But my favorite circus memory was the shriners circus. It was amazing. Every act was very cool, but my favorite act was the finale. For the finale, there was this guy who could balance the heaviest of things on his head. He even balanced a gigantic flower pot.
I do think that some circuses are closing because of animal right concerns. Some animals such as elephant and big cats are sometimes getting hit by professional wild animal tamers. Plus, they’re are performing and transporting in very crammed areas, imagine that you are an elephant and that you lived in the savanna. You would have to leave your family, leave the wide open spaces of the savanna and you are forced to do tricks. I understand very much why some circuses are being closed down. Animals should not be treated like that.
I have never been to a circus, but I do know that they are not as common as they used to be. I think that if I ever went to a circus my favourite at would be the acrobates. I like seeing how the acrobates could do the craziest things. It does make me nervous that they’re going to fall or mess up. I think that since I do like seeing gymnastics in the circus I would go and see Cirque du Soleil. I think that the circus did in fact get closed because of animal rights issues. Animal rights issues have been a big problem for a long time and I think that it is about time that people are taking action and circus’ are being closed. Animals are not like humans. They are much more vulnerable and they can’t stand up for themselves so it’s our job as humans who put them in this situation to help them and keep them safe.
I've never been to a circus but I've heard a lot about them. I find that using animals for entertainment is not right because animals should have freedom and they should be wild. Honestly, I think it's dangerous to have wild animals indoors even though they might be trained, I still find it dangerous to have wild animals indoors.
I have been to the circus but i was very small, i say my favorite act was when a guy started doing loops around a big cylinder thing and it was really cool. I am with there choice of closing the circus because those animals have to be really reliable ehn they could run off in the wild and have a better time
Apparently i've been to the circus before, but I don't remember it. Animals should be in their natural habitat and not trapped in a cage for some stupid act. Like elephants and lions should be where they are supposed to be, like in Africa. I find that the circus is stupid, why do people want to see other people juggle or walk on a tightrope.
I have never seen a circus act before in my entire life if you don't count on tv. Although I think that the acts are cool I believe that animal rights are probably the main reason that they get shut down. Long ago there was not a wanting to help the planet and the animals that live here but now of days it is taken strongly into consideration and there are many organisations that specialise in this kind of stuff. This makes it more likely to be animal rights. I believe that you should not harm an animal in any way.
I have never been to a circus before but have seen things on youtube about it. I think my favorite act would be the most dangerous ones due to the fact that i love a good rush of excitement. I think that circus shouldn't have animals in there performance because its not what an animal is used for and the animal should be in its natural habitat not a cage.
I have not ever been to the circus and I know very little about them. However I do know a fictional character who originated from the circus, the first Robin (batman’s side kick). Another reason why I do not pay much attention to circuses because clowns, not a big fan as they are very odd, and sometimes creepy like Ronald McDonald. Would the circus be closing because of animal rights concerns? Perhaps depending on the magnitude of danger.

ReplyDeleteI agree 100%. It isn't fair for the animals to have to go through these things.

I totally agree I don't think the animal should go through these things

True, the animals should be free.

DeleteI agree, especially animals that are endangered, because they need to increase the population. Great Blog

I wish I could enjoy the circus too but sadly all that ever comes to mind about them is the clowns.
