  1. My favorite birthday memory was from a year ago. My friends came over for a sleepover, we ate tacos, watched a movie and went to bed really late. It was super fun because we were constantly laughing at each other, and we made tones of inside jokes. It was also really fun because my birthday is close to Christmas time, and near Christmas, there is a holiday train that passes by my house. It stops at the station, opens up a large door and people come out if it singing Christmas songs. The night it came happened to be the day if my birthday party, so we all went and sang and danced to the holiday music. It was really fun.

  2. My best birthday memory was my 11th birthday. When I woke the day of my birthday everyone was awake I thought that they were preparing a special birthday breakfast but when I got out of bed there was no special breakfast. I go to school and when I got home I do my homework and I could my aunt and uncle talking about something but I just ignore them. We go out for supper and everyone is quiet. When we get home I open my present and it's was the Taylor Swift 1989 album and in the CD case was Taylor Swift concert tickets for the 1989 tour. That was the best birthday ever.

  3. My best birthday memory was last year, my 12th birthday. It was my favourite birthday memory because I got the two gifts I really wanted. Those two gifts were a long board (it happened to be limited edition) and a set of tuck tape (the tape that has like a lot of designs on it.) I haven't had a birthday party since I was celebrating my 9th birthday. The reason why I've never held one since then is because just handing out invitations caused way too much drama at my elementary school. I can't stand drama! Also if I don't have a birthday party my parents will just get me a few little gifts that they know I will like. And they did!

    2. I also haven't had many birthday parties because my birthday always falls on just about the last day of school, and everybody usually leaves right after for vacation. But, if giving up having a birthday party gets you the gifts you like, then it's probably worth it! Great blog!

  7. Birthdays are the best! Every year when it was my birthday I would celebrate it with my cousin since her birthday is a day before mine! It’s so much fun celebrating it with her, but one year when I was turning 11 and my friends threw me a surprise party! I was so, so, so, happy! One of the best part was that there was a lot of food there and we played a lot of games. That moment was so special for me! Also I am so happy that all of my best friends that threw me the surprise party are still in the same school as me today!

  9. I think that my most memorable birthday so far is when I turned 10. We went to a place that was sort of a Arcade but better. Instead of having those machines that you put coins in it had video game consoles. I think what really made it great was that I got to celebrate my birthday with Kohl(like all of my other birthdays). A after playin 2 hours of video games with our friends that we invited from our elementary school we went to a room where there was a huge cake. This was definably my most memorable birthday.

  11. Happy Birthday, Mr. Katz!

My most memorable birthday was my 12th birthday last June. My birthday fell on the same day as my Grade 6 graduation ceremonies. I was treated like royalty. In the morning, my mom took me to get a manicure and pedicure, and to have my hair professionally styled. When I arrived at school (looking like a princess), my class pulled a prank on me and all screamed out Happy Birthday! We then headed over to Lindsay Place High School where the ceremony was held. Later that evening (after eating birthday cake), there was a special graduation dance and party held for the Grade 6 graduating students. The DJ played a special birthday song for me (Birthday by Katy Perry). I had a blast at the party with all my friends.

Mr. Katz, I hope you have as memorable a birthday as I did!

  12. My best birthday memory was from awhile ago. It was when I turned 7. For almost all my life I wanted a dog. On my 7th birthday my mom came to pick me up from summer and told me that there was a big surprise waiting for me when I got home. I was so excited to see what the big surprise was going to be. On my way home I was asking my mom all of these questions to try and figure out what the surprise was.
Finally we got home and I ran inside. There was nothing there so I went up into my bedroom. When I got there there was the cutest little puppy sitting on my bed. I screamed and gave the dog a big hug. I was so happy that we finally got a dog.
Afterwards my family and I had to chose a name. We decided on the name Marley. Now Marley is 5 years old and still so adorable.
This was the best birthday I could've ever asked for.

  13. I think that my best memory was my 10th birthday. On that day, I went to Parc Safari. I really enjoyed it because before then, I only went to a zoo twice. The place was amazing. I saw some of my favorite animals such as lions, tigers, rhinos and giraffes. Plus I saw animals that I didn’t even know existed. There was also lots of fun games and rides. The best but also worst part of that birthday was when I got to touch some of the animals. It was very fun and interesting but I was scared too because some of the animals looked very scary and I knew that most of the animals were very wild. I’ve had a lot of fun birthdays, but I think that my 10th birthday stands out the most.

  15. My best birthday memory is when I turned 11 years old. I had my birthday party at Sky Tag with my friends. What I really liked about that party was that I invited a lot of my friends which made it ten times more fun. Another part of that birthday that I enjoyed was that when you have a birthday party at Sky Tag you get to play a private game of dodgeball. Dodgeball at Sky Tag is my favourite thing there so it made my birthday even more fun. This birthday was so memorable because of the people that were there. If my friends weren't there it would be very boring. We played dodgeball, we jumped in the foam pit, we played basketball on the trampolines and we tried to do slam dunks and we ate cake and opened presents.

  16. My best birthday memory was when two of my friends, Gabriella and Melissa, had come over. My aunt made a Miley Cyrus cake and she did face painting for my friends and I. That was my 6th or 7th birthday. I also invited some family friends. I can't remember most of it, but I remember that the best part of the party was the cake that my aunt made herself.

  18. A good birthday, I don’t have many very fond birthday memories if I do I forgot them. Although my birthdays weren't good I enjoyed my birthday parties. Grade one was probably was my worst birthday so far as my great grandmother had passed away that day but the party that was held at the jungle gym Zig Zag Zoo it was fun. I had a party with some of my friends several of them have moved away now but I still remember them. We got the zig zag zoo shirts (which I still have) the cake was transformer themed and I kept the cake ornaments until I looked at the bottom of the feet and I saw what hopefully was dirt. I remember playing a splendid game of tag and was 3rd to survive and way after the game had finished first and second appeared my best friend Logan and Greg, my brother came back.

  20. My most memorable birthday party was when I was 5, at the Eco Museum. I went with my friends and I had so much fun, at first we played in the playground waiting for everyone, then we went and explored the museum with a tour guide, and since I am a fanatic about snakes, I got to touch one and other reptiles, and then we had a nice cake. It was my most memorable because it was the first one I spent with friends.

  21. My most memorable birthday was my fifth. I remember waking up putting on this beautiful purple dress with flowers on then running into my parents bedroom. I saw that only my mom was there because it was a weekday and my dad had gone to work. (It was a ped day at our school.) After I had woken my mom up I remember seeing some Ferrero Rocher's on my mom's bedside table and I begged her for one. Later I had eaten 4, then was very disappointed because my birthday party wasn't starting until later. I think this birthday was memorable because after my friends had left my family came over and my dad made it home early to see me!
