    I'm Egeus I'm furious with Hermia she is not listening to me and the Duke is on her side this is just horrible! But this girl named Ariana told me her opinion which is: Hermia is my daughter and if I love her i would want her to be happy and be in love and not care if she's with Lysander or Demetrius because as long as she's happy I should be happy. She also said that as he father I should protect her and not put her in such a horrible position that she might end up dying which wouldn't be fair to her. But I'm the great Egeus and I should have control over Hermia right after all I'm part of the reason she's in this world! So it should be my choice who she marries right? Right? Well after all maybe I will consider Ariana's opinion and except that even if I want to I can't control everything...

    At this point does it even matter? I kind of knew Hermia wasn't going to listen to me. I am little bit mad with her because I thought Demetrius was the right man for her, I guess it wasn't the perfect match since Demetrius was a little crazy over Hermia, but I am very shocked because Demetrius went away for 4 days and then all of sudden he is in love with Helena. It then hit me that Demetrius did not love my Hermia. I never really liked Lysander but she loves him and that's all that matters.

    My daughter, Hermia, has chosen Lysander as her husband. No threat of death or becoming a nun made her change her mind. So, I dis-own her as my daughter and will let fate take its course. No good will come from this marriage. I know she will eventually come crawling back, but she will not be welcomed. As for the Duke, he has betrayed me and I will find a way to get my revenge. He will suffer for the decision he has taken and I now need to take the time to make plans. I will never be happy until I have dealt with the Duke.

    I’m Egeus and I am a little upset with Hermia. Demetrius was supposed to be the right man for my Hermia but I can’t understand why Hermia chose Lysander. And what makes me even more upset is that the Duke obviously had to take Hermia’s side. Why can’t Hermia agree with her own father? But I can understand that maybe it wasn’t the perfect match, I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I don’t like Lysander at all but Hermia loves him and that’s all I really care about, my Hermia being happy. I guess I just have to come to terms that I can’t make these decisions for Hermia.

    I am extremely disappointed with my daughter’s decision. Lysander is not the right husband for her, Demetrius is. She should have chosen Demetrius, became a nun or chose to die. I am her father and I had to make the decision of who she would marry not her. I do not understand how Duke Theseus could let her marry Lysander. I understand the Duke is getting married but he needed to deal with his subjects problems also. He didn’t do his job when I asked him to help my daughter Hermia. Right now however I am avoiding my daughter Hermia. She did not obey me so now I refuse to talk to her. I will when she realizes I was right when I said she should have married Demetrius.

    I cannot believe that Hermia chose Lysander over Demetrius after we explained the consequences. Now, even the Duke agrees with her! I can't even do anything now, because I don't want to go against the Duke's decision because then I'll be the one punished! And what happened to Demetrius? He loves Helena now?! I guess I have to give up and let Hermia get married to Lysander.

    I can't believe she did this. After all I am her father. I really never like that boy Lysander he is not right boy for my daughter, Demetrius is. But I admit Demetrius was a little bit to in love with my Hermia. I just want her to be happy. It would just break my heart if things didn't work out with Lysander. She deserves more. I can't believe that the Duke betrayed me how rude of him. I thought he was on my side the whole entire time, but I guess I was wrong. Now I'm still a little disappointed that she didn't choose Demetrius but she seems happy being with Lysander.

    I am Furious!! Hermia had no right to do that. She should listen to me. Demetrious is way better that Lysander. How could she betray me like that. I can't believe they are getting married. And how come all of a sudden Demetrious is in love with Helena? Demetrious was supposed to end up with my daughter! I will assure that every thing goes my way, Hermia will be with Demetrious and everything will go as planned.

    I'm Egeus and my daughter is making me furious! You ask why? Well I'll tell you why. My daughter wants to get married to this skunkbag called Lysander! I'm going to say to Hermia that she does not need a boy (except for Demetrius of course) in her life. Also, I would go up to the Duke and say "I know you have a lot of stuff on your mind especially with your wedding and all, but could you please rethink you descision." Also, since my daughter did not listen to me she cannot live with me anymore!

    I can not believe this, The Duke, Demetrius, Hermia, everyone betrayed me, I can't trust anyone anymore I trusted the duke to fix this, he just let it go, and even more Demetrius changed his mind. I'm going to disown Hermia and find someone new to try and get her to marry, I'm mad I really hope I'm just dreaming, because it makes no sense.

    Oh come on, why does everybody get a happy ending except me! Hermia, my teenage daughter gets to marry that fool Lysander instead of “my boy” Demetrius. Of course, she’s only marrying him to defy me. She lives to defy me, that child! Plus, Theseus turns his back on me and lets the kids marry whoever they want. He completely disregards my feelings and he’s happy about how things turn out; so even he gets his happily ever after. The three teenagers and my daughter get their happy ending. Those six moron mechanicals ran a lame play yet they get a happy ending. That stupid fairy Puck turns everything into a big mess, yet, he’s rewarded. Oberon,Titania and all the rest of the people involved in this story have something great happen to them. So, why am I not getting my happily ever after? I’ll tell you why, life is unfair! I hope my daughter and Lysander get a divorce soon!

    I’m the maddest person on earth right now. The Duke did not follow my decision of Hermia marrying Demetrius. Just because the Duke is getting married doesn’t mean that he has the decision to make my daughter going the wedding and make her marry Lysander. What is this! I guess know I just have to let me daughter get married, even if I hate Lysander at least my daughter is happy and having a good life. I am still mad that she obeyed my rule but watch in a few years she will then tell me that I was correct and that she should of married Demetrius.

    I can't believe that Hermia my own daughter is getting married to that fool Lysander! This is outrageous! Now I can't do any thing. I have no power over her! Demitrius is meant for Hermia.     I am so mad right now. I can't believe my own daughter is getting married to that fool Lysander. How could I have not known that my daughter was doing something behind my back. Now it's too late I can't fix anything they're getting married. Hermia deserves someone better like Demetrius. Oh My God I am so mad right now. Why don't I get a happy ending and everyone else does?     I'm so mad right now! My own daughter wants to marry that fool Lysander and not the rich proper man I want her to marry , Demetrius. She is my daughter and has to respect what I have to say.     I think that hernia has to listen to me because I'm her father and she has to respect me but then again it's her life so I'm gonna let her do whatever she wants and support her through whatever decision she makes. I hope she makes the right choice

    "How dare she disobey me! The law should be followed above all! why is that fool Lysander's head not being chopped up onto a silver platter yet?! This is an outrage! I hope the gods themselves crush them for this act! And how can Demetrius just change his mind like that! I don't understand this one bit! it's like a magical fairy just popped in just to ruin my life!     I find it dosent matter at this point. I should have known from the start that Lysander and Hermia are going to get married, It dosent matter because the duke already made an offer that i cant refuse, i find that they will all live hapily ever after and there are going to be no problems because they all each other

    If I was Egeus I would tell my daughter do whatever u want and I will always be happy. I will also tell her that if your happy I'm happy. But if she married Demetreus I'm sure he would under estimate her because I think he was pretty sure that she was going to marry lysander.

    Man how ironic i’m the adult and I lost to a teenager, a girl how humiliating I wish that I did not start the argument in the first place oh well it was I who gave the responsibility to that merciful duke Theseus. However I can mock Hermia’s husband for not having a job and kick her out no wait a better way to torment my daughter Hermia for such a betrayal as long as she lives under my roof i’ll give her extra chores (evil laugh) !

    Happily ever after? More like happily ever never! I am furious! Hermia does not have my permission to marry Lysander, and the Duke shouldn't allow it either. Why do all of the bad things happen to me! I need to get out of here, I can't spend the rest of my life alone. Wait! I have a plan. I am going to leave Athens through the forest, just like Hermia tried to do, and find an abandoned barn and live there! That gives me the chance to have a fresh start and finally get my happily ever after! I am a genius!

    I am outraged that my Hermia is going to get married to that fool Lysander, and what was the duke thinking! I came to him with my problem about my daughter and he took her side! I dont understand why the boy i chose to marry my daughter (Demetrius) is going to marry my daughter's best friend! This whole situation is ridiculous!
